Tifogame follows the guidelines outlined in the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) or the AVG (Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming) according to the European Regulation 2016/679, which has been in effect since May 25, 2018.

We take good care of your personal data

First and foremost, Tifogame commits to treating your personal data according to the fundamental principles of processing:

Processing of personal data

The basis of processing your personal data is consent. During registration, you will be asked for the following information:

• name

• first name

• email address

• chosen username

We need this information to organize our prediction contests, specifically to identify participants and winners and keep them informed of the game.

Your consent will be requested during the registration process. Personal data is not retained longer than necessary. This takes into account the applicable legal prescription periods.

You always have the right to withdraw this consent and delete your account.

Purpose and lawfulness

The personal data processed by Tifogame is not disclosed to third parties. Personal data will only be processed internally or with the assistance of a few processors who support the office in carrying out its mission, such as an IT company using the designated software packages.

In this context, a processing agreement is signed in accordance with GDPR legislation to ensure that the third/subcontractor cannot use the personal data for their own purposes and that these data are adequately secured. All data from Tifogame is stored on the most secure Microsoft Azure servers located in Amsterdam. Microsoft Azure follows a very clear and strict policy regarding privacy and data management. When a data breach involving the user's personal data is identified, the user will be notified within a reasonable period. This can be done via email to the email address known to Tifogroup.

When setting up prediction contests for companies, Tifogame processes personal data of employees or customers of these companies. The processing is done in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) or the AVG.

Tifogroup commits to providing the User with a motivated response to his request within a period of one month. Depending on the complexity of the request(s) and the number of requests, this period may be extended by two months if necessary. The User also has the option to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
