General

Tifogame is a product from Tifogroup BV.

Tifogame.be is an online predictions platform where users can predict for free on different soccer matches and tournaments, in this case the European Championshop Soccer. Users can participate in different predictions with different prizes each time. Several companies also organize a prediction game for their staff.

Individuals always play for FREE.

1. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

• Any adult natural person can participate in the predictions offered on tifogame.be.

• A Participant may only have one account. Tifogroup BV may delete a Participant's accounts if it has reasonable suspicions that he/she is using multiple accounts. Tifogroup BV reserves the right not to award prizes if it has reasonable suspicions that a Participant is cheating. • A Participant can only participate once in the same prediction.

• Internal contests organized by companies for their employees are intended only for staff members who are temporarily or permanently employed by the company or individuals who are affiliated with the company through a partnership and have been invited to participate. Family members, acquaintances, or friends of this person may not participate unless the company in question exceptionally and expressly allows it. Only someone who is eligible to participate can claim the offered prize package.

1.1 PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS FOR PREDICTIONS FOR CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES
• The predictions organized in collaboration with local authorities aim to support local traders. Participation is only possible if the Participant has physically received the code from the respective trader AND is a resident of the municipality/city or neighboring municipality. Tifogroup BV reserves the right to remove Participants if there are reasonable suspicions of cheating.
• Minors may participate in the predictions provided they have obtained prior consent from their parents (or the person exercising parental authority). If a minor participates, it means that he/she has obtained such consent. Tifogroup BV reserves the right to request written confirmation of this consent at any time.
During the European or World Cup forecasts, a Participant can only win three prizes from the same organizer. If a Participant who has already won 3 prizes in a prediction from a particular organizer then wins again in another prediction from the same organizer, his prize will expire and be awarded to the next in line.

2. PREDICTION CONTESTS

2.1 Prediction contest types

Tifogame offers two types of predictions

• Prediction of the match result: home team win, draw, away team win.

• Prediction of the exact score of the match.

2.2 PLAYING PERIOD

The duration of a prediction can vary from one or more matches of the tournament to the entire tournament. The Participant who collects the most points at the end of the playing period wins the prediction. A prediction clearly specifies the period it covers: the start and end dates are always mentioned.

The European Championship football tournament consists of 5 phases:

• the group stage

• the round of 16

• the quarter-finals

• the semi-finals

• the final

C. CLASSIFICATIONS (RANKINGS)

PREDICTION CONTEST CLASSIFICATION (PREDICTION CONTEST RANKING)

A classification is kept up to date for each prediction contest. A prediction contest clearly states the period over which it runs. A start and end date are clearly indicated. After each match, the classification within the group is adjusted. The participant who is in first place after the last match of the last day of play of a prediction is the winner of this competition. This participant wins the posted prize. The same reasoning applies to places 2 and 3, etc.

SCORE DETERMINATION

How are points awarded to the participants during the prediction matches during the World Cup which runs from November 21, 2022 to December 18, 2022.

There are 6 phases during the World Cup, namely:

– the group stage

– The eighth final

– The quarter finals

– the semi-final

– the consolation final

– the final

2.3 GAME FORMATS AND SCORING

The EURO '24  predictions on Tifogame are offered in 3 game formats:

• Predictions that cover the entire tournament (all matches)

• Predictions that cover the entire tournament (Belgium/Netherlands/Germany matches in the group stage + all matches in the other phases)

• Predictions that relate to one or more specific matches

Each game format uses one of the two types of predictions mentioned under 2.1 or a combination of both. The scoring system varies according to the game format.

The following chart shows the most common distribution of points for EC predictions.

PREDICTION CONTEST FOR ONE STAGE OF THE TOURNAMENT

    A. If it is a prediction match that runs over one phase of the tournament, for example only the eighth final then 10 points are awarded to a user who correctly predicts the direction of the match. Home team wins, tie or away team wins.

    B. If a pronouncement match involves an exact score over one phase, a user scores 30 points if he/she got the score completely right, 15 points if he/she got the number of goals for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match outcome and 5 points if he/she only got the direction right. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.

PREDICTION CONTEST OVER THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT

    C. If it is a prediction contest that runs over the entire tournament and the users have to predict not only the Belgians’ matches but all the countries then the points distribution looks like this:

    • Group stage
The direction is asked. 20 points are awarded to the user who correctly predicts the direction of a match. There are 36 matches so there are 720 points to be earned.

    • The eighth finals
The exact score is asked. 40 points are awarded to the user who predicts the match completely correctly. 30 points if he/she gets the goal count for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match result and 20 points if he/she only gets the direction correct. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There are 8 matches so there are 320 points to be earned.

    • The quarter-finals
The exact score is requested. 60 points are awarded to the user who predicts the match completely correctly. 45 points if he/she gets the goal count for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match result correctly and 30 points if he/she only gets the direction correct. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There are 4 matches so there are 240 points to be scored.
    • The semi-finals

The exact score is asked. 80 points are awarded to the user who predicts the match completely correctly. 60 points if he/she gets the goal count for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match result and 40 points if he/she only gets the direction correct. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There are 2 matches so there are 160 points to be earned.

    • The Final

The exact score is asked. 100 points are awarded to the user who predicts the match completely correctly. 75 points if he/she is correct in the goal count for one of the 2 teams and correct in the direction of the match and 50 points if he/she is only correct in the direction. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There is 1 match so there are 100 points to be earned.

    D. If it is a prediction contest that runs over the entire tournament and the users must predict only the matches of the Belgians or the Dutch in the group stage. In the later stages of the tournament, the matches of all are predicted. Then the points distribution will be as follows:

    • Group stage

The exact score is asked. 60 points are awarded to the user who predicts the match completely correctly. 30 points if he/she gets the goal count for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match result and 10 points if he/she only gets the direction correct. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There are 3 matches so there are 180 points to be earned.

40 points if he/she gets the goal count for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match result correctly and 30 points if he/she only gets the direction correct.

    • A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There is 1 match so there are 100 points to be earned.

    • When taking part in a prediction contest hosted by a trader, a hotel or restaurant, an association, … which falls under a platform of a city or a municipality, in some cases, a general classification is offered, with its own prize pool. If you participate in a trader’s prediction contest, you are automatically included in the general ranking of that particular city or municipality. Attention: if you participate in the prediction contest of several traders, only one participation will be included in the general ranking of the city or municipality: the best participation which results in the most points.

      E. CLASSIFICATION

Each prediction is associated with a ranking. After each matchday, the ranking is updated. The Participant who holds the first position after the last match of the prediction on the last matchday is the winner of that prediction. This Participant wins the prize as mentioned under the section 'Prizes to be won.' The same reasoning applies to positions 2, 3, etc.

Some cities or municipalities also organize a general ranking with a specific prize pool. A Participant who participates in a prediction offered by a retailer, restaurant, association, etc., which is available through the platform of a city or municipality, may win prizes multiple times in this case: one or more times through the predictions of the retailers, restaurants, associations, etc., and once more through the general ranking of the city or municipality. If the Participant participates in predictions from multiple local retailers, restaurants, associations, etc., only the best result of their participation counts towards the general ranking of the city or municipality.

      F. REWARDS FOR THE WINNERS

The organizer of a prediction contest provides a prize for the winner(s) of the prediction. The prize will be displayed within the prediction contest. There is always more explanation available about the prize. Tifogroup is not responsible for providing or awarding the prize unless the competition is organized by Tifogroup itself. This is clearly indicated by the name of the prediction contest and by the posted logo for each competition.

If the winner is a minor, this prize can only be received by his/her parents (or by the person who exercises parental authority).

The score within a monthly or weekly prediction contest only counts within this prediction contest and not for other prediction contests. It is up to the player to enter a prediction in all desired groups. The same prediction can be repeated but must be entered again.

A user can only participate once within the same prediction contest. If a user uses a different e-mail address to create an account and participate in the same prediction contest, the user won’t have a chance anymore to win a prize. On purpose participating in the same prediction contest with different accounts can be punished severely. Tifogroup reserves the right not to give away prizes in case of reasonable doubt that a player has cheated. Also, all accounts of a player can be removed, if Tifogroup discovers that a player owns multiple accounts.

During the European Football Championships, a participant can only win one prize with the same organizer of a prediction contest. If the player finishes in a place that would entitle him to a prize on a second occasion, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next player in the ranking.

If a player wins a prize at Tifogame, then he/she will receive an autoreply with the confirmation of his/her win. Within one week after the win, the player will receive another mail with more information about the practical circumstances of receiving the prize. If the player doesn’t respond, then the player will receive a reminder with a deadline. If the player doesn’t respond to that mail before the stipulated deadline, then Tifogroup reserves the right not to award the prize to that player anymore.

      F. KNOWLEDGE + TIEBREAKER QUESTION

Every prediction offered on Tifogame.be is a match and includes 1 knowledge question and 1 or more tiebreaker questions. A participation is only valid after the Participant has answered the knowledge question correctly. If the knowledge question is answered incorrectly, the participation is invalid, and a Participant cannot score any points.

Companies organizing an internal prediction contest for their employees may choose not to include the knowledge question in their prediction.

      G. TIEBREAKERS

In the event of a tie (ex aequo), consideration is given to the answers to the tiebreaker questions. The answers to the tiebreaker questions are compared to the correct answers. The differences from the correct answers are calculated separately and then added together. The Participant whose sum of these differences is the smallest is ranked the highest.

Example: Participant A and Participant B both finish with 75 points in the prediction contest of Retailer X. There are 2 tiebreaker questions: the number of corners and the number of shots on target. In the match, there were 6 corners and 12 shots on target. Participant A chose 5 corners and 10 shots on target. Participant B chose 9 corners and 11 shots on target. Participant A has a difference of 1 (6-5 = 1) for corners and 2 (12-10 = 2) for shots on target. His total difference is 3. Participant B has a difference of 3 (9-6 = 3) for corners and 1 (12-11 = 1) for shots on target. His total difference is 4. Participant A is therefore ranked the highest.

If there is still a tie after the tiebreak, the timestamp when the prediction was submitted will be the deciding factor: the Participant with the earliest submitted prediction wins.

      H. PLAYER PROFILE

The player will find his profile on the dashboard. This profile uses an avatar chosen by the player. If the player does not use it, a default avatar will be displayed. The avatar or photo chosen by the player must not be in any way discriminatory, racist or offensive. Tifogroup reserves the right to change or modify avatars or pictures on player profiles. In addition, Tifogroup also reserves the right to remove users from the Tifogame prediction platform after repeated violations to this rule.

On the dashboard, players can find a number of personal statistics:

      • WINS: A win is the correct prediction of one game, regardless of whether it took place in a weekly, a monthly or a quick prediction contest.
      • ACCURACY SCORE: The accuracy score of a player indicates the percentage of correct predictions. In order to determine the accuracy score, the number of correct predictions is divided by the total number of predictions, multiplied by 100.
      • MATCH GAMES: The number of matches predicted by a player.
