General

Tifogame is a product of Tifogroup BV.

Tifogame.be is an online platform where you can make predictions on football matches and major tournaments such as the Euros and the World Cup. Many companies use the platform to organize their own private prediction contests for staff.

Participants never pay any financial stake.

Tifogroup also organizes public prediction contests, often in partnership with others, with various prizes that anyone can enter for free.

1. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

  • Any natural person of legal age may participate in the predictions offered on tifogame.be.
  • A participant may only have one account. Tifogroup BV reserves the right to delete a participant’s accounts if there are reasonable suspicions of multiple account usage. Tifogroup BV also reserves the right to withhold prizes if there are reasonable suspicions of cheating.
  • A participant may only enter each contest once.
  • Internal company contests are exclusively for employees (permanent or temporary) and persons connected to the company through a partnership. Only invited persons may participate. Family members, friends and acquaintances are not allowed to participate unless the company expressly permits it.

    • 40 points per correct result.

In the knockout stages, you predict the exact score for all matches. The standard scoring applies.

2.3.3 Automatic prediction when no entry is made

If you do not submit a prediction for a match, the following is automatically entered:

      • Group Stage: Draw
      • Knockout Stage: 0-0

If the actual result matches this automatic prediction, you will still receive the corresponding points. This rule also applies to late entrants.

      2.4 LEADERBOARDS

Every contest has a leaderboard, which is updated after each match.
The participant at the top after the final matchday wins the contest and the prize listed under “Prizes to be Won”.

      2.5 REWARDS FOR THE WINNERS

After a contest ends, Tifogroup notifies the winner(s) by email. Depending on the agreement with the organizer, either Tifogroup or the organizer handles the prize distribution. Tifogroup is only responsible for prize delivery when contractually agreed. In all other cases, the organizer bears full responsibility.

      2.6 TIES

The points system is designed to minimize ties. In the event of a tie in points, ranking is determined by registration time: the participant who registered first ranks higher.

      Procedure:

      1. Points: Participants are ranked by total points (highest to lowest).
      2. Registration time: In case of a tie, the earliest registered participant ranks higher.

      3. PLAYER PROFILE

On the dashboard, participants can view their profile. You can add a photo to your profile. If no photo is chosen, a default avatar is shown. The chosen photo may not be discriminatory, offensive, racist or insulting in any way.

On the dashboard you can view your personal accuracy score. This score shows the percentage of correct predictions.
